Child by Child

It's not that there is nothing to write about it lately, it's more that I can't decide what should be shared, and what is not yet ready to be shared:)
Noah turns one this week. I can't believe it. I can't believe it for so many reasons.
I can't believe he is still with us.
I can't believe he made it this far, hew as so fragile in the beginning, it was scary.
I can't believe he's still here, yet he is technically an orphan... on his first birthday.
I can't believe what still lays ahead for him.

I also realized last night that David and I are about to have another mini-us! That's freaky. We haven't really taken the time to process that we have a new baby coming soon! We need to do that.
I've been processing the fact that I need to plan out April-June NOW! Since I'll probably be totally out of it for that long. Which includes a two week road trip to Florida, my best-friends wedding, swim lessons, summer clothes for five kids, learning to breast feed,
rearranging our entire household to fit one more person, five birthdays, etc. It's a bit much. Maybe that's why I keep "forgetting" we're having another baby!

Tre started kindergarten again. At our local school, he is in the afternoons, and he is one of ten kids in his class. It seems to be perfect. It is much less demanding in terms of his writing skills. So we shall see. I think he will definitely do kindergarten again next year, since he won't even be six until right before school starts again.

We did have a miracle happen recently! We were accepted into the Institute for Attachment and Child Development and have been given the funding to cover the services one of our babies needs so desperately! It's HUGE!
We haven't started yet, were waiting on scheduling for our first LONG assessment appointment. But we feel completely blessed, and are just continually reminded that God has forged this path for us and promises to provide each step of the way.
I can't wait to share some of the things we learn during this process!

Lastly, and most importantly, we just got the Ninja. It has changed our lives! It's an awesome blender, and we do smoothies a lot. And it rocks!
Well, I better get back to the laundry. It's calling for me.
