This year I had a great idea to plant some christmas bulbs in different types of old jars and give them as gifts... Unfortunately I was way off in my timing. (For those of you who know me, you're laughing at my attempt at ANY type of gardening or green thumb exercise!)
So now, I have several Christmas flowers blooming all over my house, for Valentines Day?!
Needless to say, I wanted to photograph one of my favorites the other day.
As I was clicking away I saw this...
Yes, thats a machine gun, in my beautiful Christmas bulb, that is to represent peace and good-will.
Life with boys.
(And for those of you wondering, yes it was broken a few times during it's time with us... they couldn't help themselves.)
