We got two great pieces of news today!
1. My spinal fluid tests all came back negative, I do not have meningitis. Praise God!
2. Our insurance will cover the experimental treatment that will hopefully stop any negative effects of the CMV virus that could effect our little girl. This treatment is tens of thousands of dollars per treatment, so this is miraculous! There is also very little data proving it's effectiveness so the insurance saying they will cover it is just amazing!
We are still waiting to hear how long I will be here, possibly another five days, and then we will do an amniocentesis in a couple weeks to test the baby. Please continue to pray that the virus does not cross the placenta and that I continue to heal. Thank you so much for your continued love and support!
