I finally ordered and received the material for Tre's quilt. I had been putting it
off. I was afraid to commit really. I didn't want to order the fabric and then find something I liked better later on. Plus I am making the quilt for his toddler bed, and for some reason I am very hesitant to make that transition. Possibly because it takes away the only place I know he is ever really safe, and he loves his crib. But it is time. The jumping has become excessive, the toppeling out has become dangerous, and it's a great excuse to redecorate! So I just did it! It's my first big quilt, and I am nervous, but so excited. The only real problem I'm having is adding on to it (note picture below).
But I don't mind! He already loves it so much that he keeps stealing it from me and playing "night-night", I love that he knows it's something special just for him. I can't wait to show you the finished product!
