Purvis Christmas

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone already! It was such a wonderful whirl-wind. It started with the Butler (my parents)-Kucharyson (my sis and her hubby)-Richmond (Grandma)-Purvis (us) Christmas at our house on the 23rd. It was so much fun. It was the first family holiday that I got to host and it was a blast. My parents got Tre the easel we'd been eying up at PBKids, and so I made an accessory, a little painting smock. We got finger paints, but so far we've just stuck to the crayons. We ate Lots of yummy food, drank sangria's and chocolate peppermint lattes and enjoyed each other's company.
The next morning we flew to Pennsylvania to see all the Purvis' on the farm. Tre had the worst cold he's ever had, and developed a double ear infection. But he was the best kid ever! He travelled great and was such a trooper. A few of his favorite activities in Pennsylvania included:

Watching airplanes come in at the airport.

Driving all the tractors around the farm with Pa.

Riding the train at the mall.

And f course, opening lots of presents.

We had such a wonderful Christmas. We are so thankful for our friends and family and for all the blessings God has poured out on us in 2007. But most of all we are in awe of the little babe in that manger that saved the world. Merry Christmas everyone!
