Lot's to pack in...

So my camera is officially broken, I won't blame it on my mom even though it's her fault, it could happen to any of us! (J/K mom, you know I love you and am not too worried!) SO here are all the pics I would put up from the last week:
1. Tre's Birthday- Tre blowing out the candles on his Tractor cake, playing at the beach (by that I mean the reservoirs rough sand- but we told him it was Hawaii! I love 2 year olds, he thinks we flew the whole fam out to Hawaii for his 2nd birthday!)
2. Grandmas's 80th birthday bash, the whole family flew in from all over the nation and we had a blast. We even all wore the same shirts and went hiking and picnicking, we played Grandma Jeopardy, and just had a ball! PIcture here would be big family pics with our t-shirts on, hiking ouzel falls, etc.
3. Grandma and Tre and I at the aquarium.
4. And last night for Grandma's big day we flew her to Wyoming, by we I definitely mean David. Tre and I were in the back, actually just I was in the back, Tre left me and sat with David to helped him fly. Pictures here would be us in the airplane, us at Frontier Days, us with Fair food including corn dogs, pizza, pita, funnel cake, etc. Us running through the pouring rain. The nice man from the airport who took us back to our plane so we didn't have to walk, the clock when we got home at almost 1 am with my 80 year old grandma and 2 year old son, grandma sleeping on the couch in David's clothes (she's probably now glad that my camera is broken!), etc.

It has been a wonderful week, full of fun and commemorating two of my favorite people on earth, my son and his second year of life, and my Grandma who is on her eightieth year of life. They have both taught me life lessons, made me laugh, and made me cry! I love them both dearly and know that I am the woman I am today because of them both!

My Hubby

My husband is amazing. He has been working so hard on our business, in the alst five days her ehas been his schedule:
Thursday- flight training with clients 6am - 12 am
Friday- flight training with clients 6am - 12 am
Saturday- sleep in, write message, speak at our church
Sunday- Speak two more services at our church, drive me and crying two year old son to Estes Park, enjoy time with my ENTIRE mom's side of the family, he didn't even act tired. Then drove himself home at 9 pm. (2 hours of driving)
Monday- flight training with clients 6am - 11pm!

That is a lot! And let me tell you, his speaking this weekend was amazing. He might have done it just for me, I'm not sure. But it was on fear, and it was soooo good! I listened to it three times and I still didn't get everything out of it!

You should definitely listen to it here.

Saying Hello

I haven't forgotten to post about Thailand, I am just still digesting. I got to meet my daughter, and it was definitely life changing. But I really can't seem to put it into words. I cried when I saw her, but quickly realized I was just a stranger to her. But over the next seven days while I was there we became very close. And I still can't write about leaving. But while I was there it was wonderful. It was fun to watch her become more comfortable with me, to watch her blossom. She is a true leader and very intelligent, she loves to have fun, and is a true worshipper. I love her. I got to take her out for a whole day, off the campus, just a girls day... it was amazing. We went to Lotus, which is like our WalMart and went shopping, she got new clothes, shoes, art supplies, stuffed animals, whatever she wanted! Then we went to the hot springs where we played in the river, played in the hot springs, boiled eggs in the hot springs (quail eggs that is!) and ate them with soy sauce, made a trip to KFC, then we went and got our hair and nails done, and topped it off with a big ice cream sundae! It was a dream come true day.

The Zoo

Today Tre and I met Oma for a field trip to the zoo. We had a blst. Tre hadn't been since last summer, so it was so fun to watch hime really get into it! He was running around going, "Oh Baby!" All morning. We rode the carousel, saw a train, lot's of monkey's, giraffes, fed the birds, pat some goats, jumped in puddles, etc. It was one fun day! Tre's favorite part was the peacocks. It is peacock mating season and they were all wandering around the zoo, feather's up, and calling soooo loud! He loved it!

MeatBALLS

We had a little spaghetti and meatball incident lately. I took a phone call during dinner (mistake one) and assumed David would watch Tre (mistake 2). Well, a few minutes later I heard David screaming, "Oh no, TRE!" So I politely ended my phone conversation to go check out the damage. As I walked up the stairs David said to me, "I only turned away for a minute.." (mistake 3). I huess David got involved in whatever was on television and Tre dumped my milk everywhere. So as David was walking hte five feet from the couch to the kitchen Tre then found my spaghetti and meatballs that was still on my plate and assumed that teh spaghetti was for eating and that the BALL was for throwing. When David turned around from getting a towel and carpet cleaner for the milk a meatball came whizzing by his face. And as he looked he saw that the meatball had been thrown all over the living room and our living room was covered in red sauce! Ah, fun times! There are only a few scars remaining.
